House of Anaya
Portfolio

A studio measured in projects, not years.

House of Anaya keeps a deliberately short list. Below is the work we are willing to be judged by — three of these open into full case studies; the rest are recent or in progress.

A low-slung living room with an oiled teak book wall and a caramel leather sofa under soft north light

Golf Links Residence

Golf Links, New Delhi  ·  2023

A 1960s bungalow apartment on one of Delhi's most planted streets, reworked for a family of collectors who wanted the rooms to step back behind the art and the light.

A long low-slung living volume with a tall arched window and warm afternoon light
02

Nilaya House

Chhatarpur, New Delhi  ·  2022

A weekend house on the edge of the Chhatarpur farmland belt, built around a single old neem tree and a hundred-foot verandah, for a couple who wanted the seventh day to feel like another country.

A dark, calm room with brass detailing and a wide window framing a distant dome at dusk
03

The Kila Apartment

Nizamuddin East, New Delhi  ·  2024

A fourth-floor apartment in Nizamuddin East whose windows frame the domes of the tomb across the road — for a couple who move countries every three years and wanted one home that would travel with them in spirit.

A low stone house in the Aravalli foothills at dusk, lit warmly from within
04

Sirohi Farmhouse

Sirohi, Rajasthan  ·  2021

A working farmhouse in the Aravalli foothills built almost entirely from stone quarried within sight of the plot — thick walls, small openings, and rooms organised around keeping cool without machinery.

Residential

A duplex terrace opening to a lap pool with the sea beyond in flat afternoon light
05

Amaya Penthouse

Worli, Mumbai  ·  2023

A sea-facing duplex that trades Delhi's weight for salt light — pale plaster, bleached teak, and a material palette chosen to age gracefully in humidity and spray.

Residential

A small daylit room with timber screens, cane seating and plants — a tea room in a garden pavilion
06

Bagh Tea Room

Sunder Nursery precinct, New Delhi  ·  2024

The studio's first hospitality project — a twelve-table tea room in a restored garden pavilion, designed to disappear behind the garden it looks onto.
