Three rooms from the last two years.
We start every project by removing things.A plan is edited until only what the room needs is left —one finish per surface, light you can feel the source of,and enough empty space to notice the person in it.
House of Anaya — working method
A House of Anaya interior is not a look. It is a set of decisions about proportion, material and daylight that you stop noticing after a week — which is the point.
The studio works on a small number of projects at a time, from first sketch through the last coat of oil on the joinery. We draw our own cabinetry, specify our own lighting circuits, and stay on site through installation. It is slow, and it is meant to be.
